
Challenge
Van Vliet New York is part of the internationally-known Van Vliet Flower Group, a full service importer and wholesaler of fresh-cut flowers and sundries. Their 10th anniversary was the basis for a month-long calendar of events culminating in a private, invitation-only celebration featuring creations by leading floral designer Kenji Takenaka and incorporating the launch of an updated logo which needed to seem new and fresh without straying too far from the respected brand of their parent company.
Result
Advantages' custom re-draw of the company's rose logo proved to be just the thing to update their look while keeping intact the simplicity and beauty of the old brand. The updated logo was applied to a series of printed materials including save-the-date notices, event invitations, and other mailings highlighting the various anniversary events. Heavyweight pouchette envelopes for the invitations, hand-addressing in metallic silver ink, and special signage at the gala itself provided an added measure of luster and made it clear that this was a once-in-a-lifetime event that was not to be missed.
